Where to Eat in London

It was so fun traveling London and seeing the variety of cuisines they have to offer. Below were some of my favorites, not only for the food, but also the unique environment each one has.

Sketch

If you haven’t heard of Sketch, you probably recognize their egg-shaped, colorful bathrooms from photos. Located in Mayfair, Sketch is the place to go if yo'u’re looking to have afternoon tea. The interior is stunning, the service was really friendly, and my favorite part was the live music; the string trio made me feel like I was in a scene from Bridgerton. While it is pricey, the experience is worth it for an occasion and you’ll walk away feeling full with maybe even leftovers to take home.

Quality Wines

Tucked in the neighborhood of Farrington is Quality Wines, and it was my favorite restaurant we went to in London. Everything about this place was perfection from the food to the ambiance, I’m dreaming about it as I write this. It’s a cozy restaurant that also serves as a wine shop/bar that has a rotating menu each week written on a black chalkboard, which is hung up in the corner of the restaurant. Chef Nick Bramham creates Mediterranean-inspired dishes and you get to watch him cook in the open kitchen, while also being surrounded by shelves of wine along each wall. If you are in London, this is a must-try!

I love the cozy ambiance and getting to see the chef cook your meal right in front of you

Paccheri with Nduja Tomato & Ricotta

Focaccia & Culatello di Zibello

Kutir

When stepping into Kutir, situated inside a Chelsea townhome, you immediately notice the intricate floral wallpaper and you are transported to a new place. Kutir serves Indian dishes inspired by India’s wildlife and countryside where Chef Rohit Ghai spent time during the early days of his career. Everything we ordered was delicious it’s no surprise that they’ve earned many awards. The flavors were bold and rich yet not too heavy, and the presentation was beautiful. If you’re looking for an intimate setting with amazing Indian food, I highly recommend Kutir!
