Nowadays, watches are replaced by phones or some tech gadget. We lose track of time and forget to stop and breathe. The tick of a watch reminds me to slow down and enjoy every moment. Watches will always be classic and are not only a timepiece, but also a fashion statement.
Over the years, I've had many watches -- circular, square, colorful bands, steel bands, and everything else in between. When JORD Wood Watches sent me their Olive & Aegean Blue wood watch from their new Cassia collection, I appreciated their modern take on a classic timepiece.
Immediately, I was impressed by the quality of their product. This started from the packaging, a wooden box with a drawer that has a humidity control pack, so your watch stays in pristine condition. When opening the box, the wooden band combined with the aegean blue watch face instantly reminded me of my roots in the PNW and love for the sea. This carefully crafted watch fits perfectly with my style since I'm always looking to find unique accessories. This watch will definitely be a staple in my collection!
