Denim on Denim

One of my favorite outfits for a causal, summer day, is denim on denim. Since it's summer, I chose to go with lighter tones of denim to keep the look bright and fresh. Here, I wore a pair of high-waisted jeans with a cropped white shirt, a light-washed denim jacket, and a pair of white bow slip-ons. This look is so simple, but mixing denim textures creates a fashion-forward outfit with minimal effort.
My favorite pieces from this outfit are the high-waisted jeans and bow slip-ons. I bought these jeans while I was in San Francisco after I spilled coffee all over my white jeans. These instantly caught my eye because of the unique asymmetrical bottoms and I'm a sucker for anything high-waisted. I'm also in love with my white bow slip ons that I got in New York. These shoes go with everything and instantly make a statement.
